So far in 2016, YouTubers have proved that they don’t just belong on the Internet. Thanks to publishers, film producers and clothing brands, digital media stars are finding it easier than ever to move into the offline spotlight and make a true name for themselves. And now the newest YouTubers STEPPING up to the challenge are Marcus Butler and Amanda Steele as they collaborate with Adidas on their newest sneaker campaign.
Launched this week, the Step In campaign sees Marcus and Amanda doing what they do best in a series of videos highlighting their new, snazzy Adidas Neo Cloudfoam shoes. Marcus can be seen dashing about London in his Cloudfoam’s in one of his beloved vlogs, whereas “world renowned fashion and beauty blogger” Amanda styles her sneakers in a lookbook (seen below). The duo were chosen to help enocourage people “step in” to what they’re most passionate about.
In the description of Marcus’ video, we find out more about the brand new line of Cloudfoam sneakers; “An exciting new collection of Adidas Neo shoes featuring a soft, comfortable and lightweight midsole and memory foam shoeliner like you’ve never experienced before”. 30 new Cloudfoam products are all available right now in stores and online featuring their brand new lightweight cushioning.
Marcus Butler, a British YouTuber with nearly 5 million subscribers, shared more about his collaboration with Adidas for the new campaign; “The new Adidas Neo Cloudfoam shoes are perfect for me to wear everyday. They suit my casual style and the extra comfort means that I can keep going all day long, even on the busiest days like when I was dashing around London. I had so much fun making my video and now I want to see what my followers love to do too”.
