Last week we told you about how a prominent Australian YouTuber had been accused of faking a social experiment and expressed our disapproval with his lame-as-hell reaction to the accusations, which included literally just running away. Well now it seems the lies have caught up with him, because Gee has finally admitted that, yes, he did use paid actors in his prank video.
He expressed his apologies in this video, in which he did the ‘I am sorry voice’ – you know, where your voice is all sort of low and soft. You’ll see. If you don’t want to watch it, we have the key facts for you below:
See what I mean about the voice?
Key Points From The Apology Video
- He is sorry
- This is not the first time he’s staged a video
- This is the first time he has used actors, though
- He won’t stage a video again
- For some reason instead of just ending the video there, he goes on to show us him flirting with a girl he just met on a plane. There’s nothing wrong with that but it seems weird to have it in the same video as the apology.
Here are all the videos he’s admitted were faked:
He also admitted that this ‘prank’ video was deliberately made so that the audience knew it was fake. We can totally agree with that, because it’s hard to believe that anyone thought this
clickbait video was real:
Convenient thumbnail, that.
