Could this be the Internet’s new BBC?

From little old England, it often feels like a lot of the big YouTube events and personalities exist over the other side of the pond. Sure, we have our UK equivalents, but apparently moving to LA or pursuing your career in Silicone Valley is the best approach to YouTubing. But not anymore – AwesomenessTV has now launched in the UK!

From today (February 16th) onwards, you can hop over to the AwesomenessTV UK YouTube channel and watch content 365 days of the year, 7 days a week. Whoa. They even have a TV schedule planned for their channel hosts which will feature Mazzi Maz, Harrison Webb, Emily Canham, Jake Boys, Jake Mitchell, Hannah Witton, Toby Randall and Ebony Day over the whole week.

In the US, AwesomenessTV has over 3.5 million subscribers and has solidified it’s position within the community as the very first channel of it’s kind to be a daily broadcasting network. You may recognise the name as the team who recently made Dance Camp, the teen dance drama movie that recently aired on YouTube Red with Meg DeAngelis. The scheduling plan is as follows:

MONDAY: Advice and DIY videos

TUESDAY: Fashion and Beauty content

WEDNESDAY: Entertainment-style clip shows

THURSDAY: Listicle videos

FRIDAY: Entertainment News

SATURDAY: AwesomenessTV challenge videos

SUNDAY: Comedy and Cooking content

Taking part in the first and only UK YouTube channel to broadcast every single day of the year, Ebony Day (who posts the Life Hack videos on Mondays) was super excited to be a part of the project, “I am so excited to be involved in AwesomenessTV UK. We had so much fun filming the life hack videos and I hope they put a smile on everyone’s face”.

We’re definitely keen to subscribe to this channel and see how the team manage daily content over the next 12 months!
