If you happened to go down to the famous Madame Tussauds Waxworks Museum in London recently, you may have been shocked to find two brand new YouTube models. You may have been even more shocked to find out that Caspar Lee and Oli White hadn’t actually been immortalised as wax figures, but were sat in waiting to trick fans as they posed for photos with them!
In their brand new prank with the YouTube campaign #MadeForYou, the two pranking boys waxed up their skin and sat on a sofa waiting for fans eager to see all of the YouTuber models a year after they launched. After taking selfies with the iconic Zoe and Alfie models, fans ran to sit with the brand new Caspar and Oli waxworks… only to get a fright when they came alive right in front of their eyes!
You can watch Caspar and Oli’s waxworks come alive in the video below:
Nicole Fenner, the Senior PR Manager at Madame Tussauds London, said: “Since launching just over a year ago, the YouTube area here at Madam Tussauds London has been extremely popular with out guests, many of whom are fans of Zoe and Alfie, who, alongside Caspar and Oli, are some of the UK’s most influential YouTubers”.
Unfortunately, now the prank is over, the boys don’t seem to be living in the waxworks museum 24/7 – but make sure you go and check out Zoe and Alfie if you haven’t already! Oh and don’t worry about those fans who got shocked… it looks like they all totally loved meeting the REAL Caspar Lee and Oli White over a selfie with the wax models.
