Her videos inspire healthy fitness regimes and delicious recipes for pre and post workouts, but her most recent video revealed her dark past with an eating disorder that caused her to lose 16lbs in 8 short weeks.
Cassey speaks out about her battles with Orthorexia – an eating disorder that causes the individual to obsess about ONLY eating food that can be considered as healthy. This disorder may sound like your typical everyday diet, until Cassey expands on the types of food that would cause her anxiety in regards to her weight,
“I was afraid to eat apples; like I was frightened of bananas, and I just didn’t want to touch a grape because I thought that it would make me fat and it would make me gain weight. I was super obsessed.”
After revealing her gruesome 4-hours-a-day work-out regime and a diet that only consisted of chicken breasts, egg whites and lettuce, Blogilates is urging all her fans to join in her new pledge – No more diets.
