Set your alarms for Tuesday 31st!

Emma Blackery is absolutely SMASHING 2016. With her brand new EP going on general release on Spotify today and y’know, the fact she’s currently on tour with Busted and Wheatus, we’d say that Emma is living her dreams and getting stuff done. However, she’s clearly not finished surprising us yet as she literally just announced her very first UK headline tour!

Starting in October 2016, you’ll be able to see one of our favourite YouTube stars take to the stage as the headline/main act of her very own tour alongside a “full band… and hopefully even more new songs”. Whilst the tour only covers four dates and venues, Emma promises that “if it sells out, then I’ll do some more dates” so don’t worry if you can’t make it to the shows announced in her video.

In the video, Emma opens up by saying that she’s “in a very good mood but I’m in a very weird mood” as she’s seen absolutely buzzing around her bedroom ready to share her news; the solo music career she started writing last year is finally coming to the mainstage as she travels the UK to play her fantastic new music! You’ll be able to check out Emma Blackery and her Sucks To Be You tour at the following places:

  • October 23rdLondon O2 Academy2
  • October 24thManchester Sound Control
  • October 25thGlasgow O2 ABC2
  • October 26thBirmingham O2 Academy3

Tickets will be available on Tuesday the 31st of May from MyTicket and SeeTickets for the amazing price of only £10, which Miss Blackery says is “like, the price of a fucking Freddo bar now”. You can also check out the official music video for Sucks To Be You below, but don’t be upset if Emma isn’t coming to a town near you, as she points out “it’s very hard logistically… I’m sure one day I’ll come to the US and Canada”, which is fair enough tbh.

If you want to see what other YouTubers have been up to this week, and whether it’s been naughty or nice, check out our weekly episode of SLAY or NAY to stay informed! A new episode comes out every Tuesday, so make sure you come back next week to find out more:
