Goodbye social life.

Just a day after the Fine Bro’s concluded their ‘Sing It’ parody contest for YouTube Red, the pair have brought back their iconic web series ‘Emo Dad’ for a second season – and it looks unusually normal. The Fine Bro’s series first launched back on their YouTube channel in 2013, but three years later the duo are introducing it to the new video subscription service, Fullscreen, for you to binge watch right now.

As all of you ‘Emo Dad’ fans out their will already know, the first season followed the incredibly emo Chris and his dad David, who wore black lipstick and a fake lip ring to try and teach his son a lesson. Now Chris has completely shed his emo persona, ‘Emo Dad’ David is trying to fight off the guy-liner and studded belts to become a normal father again.

The original cast will return to season two with a few new, yet familiar, voices. Of course the Fine Bro’s themselves with be voicing Chris (Rafi Fine) and Kyle (Benny Fine), but Emo Dad has attracted new stars in the form of Karen Gillan (Doctor Who) and Jack McBrayer (30 Rock) who shall be voicing Jessica and Principal Meister.  Fellow YouTubers Rosanna Pansino and Lisa Schwartz will also be making an appearance in the new web series.

It’s not news that Fullscreen has had it’s critics since it launched back in April, with people refusing to pay for the content that they were used to getting for free. However, the SVOD rivals have seriously stepped up their game, with shows like Jack Howard and Dean Dobbs’ workplace comedy ‘Jack And Dean Of All Trades’ and Shane Dawson’s talk show ‘Shane and Friends’ all being streamed on the subscription service alongside it’s newest addition ‘Emo Dad’.

If you still have no idea what we’re talking about and you’re completely new to the Fine Bro’s series, then never fear, the entire season one is still available to watch for free on their YouTube channel right now – and you can binge watch the whole of season two whenever you please on Fullscreen. Don’t worry, if you’re not signed up to the subscription service, Fullscreen offers a month free trial which it plenty of time to watch season two – twice over.

Make sure to let us know in the comments whether you’ve seen any of ‘Emo Dad’ season two in the comments and in the meantime, check out this weeks instalment of SLAY or NAY to catch up on all of this weeks YouTube news.
