In 2016, it’s common knowledge that YouTubers and new media stars are all signed up to multi-channel networks and production companies to help enhance their brand and audience reach. This week Fullscreen, the MCN behind MyLifeAsEva and The Fine Bros fame, have opened their doors to five more influencers in order to kickstart a new direction into “lifestyle and gaming verticals”.
The new creators will join a network of over 75,000 other social media stars, with a combined total of over 600 million subscribers – so who are the lucky sign ups? One of them is teen beauty vlogger Teala Dunn, who recently left her previous network AwesomenessTV along with her 1.3 million YouTube subscribers and 1.2 million Instagram followers. Alongside her is Phan-favourite and gaming goddess Catrific with her army of 729k YouTube subs. But the signups don’t stop there.
With a total of over 6.1 million subscribers all together, travel vlogger Jay Alvarrez, cocktail wizard Tipsy Bartender and gossip legend Kingsley have also all joined the Fullscreen ranks to “expand current brands, find opportunities across new platforms, form brand partnerships, license their content and undertake new content initiatives”. These “new content initiatives” have been achieved in the past with films such as O2LForever and the campy reboot of 70’s series Electra Woman and Dyna Girl, starring Hannah Hart and Grace Helbig.
Beau Bryant, Fullscreen’s SVP of Talent, spoke more about their decision to sign up such a varied range of new creators; “Teala, Cat, Jay, Tipsy Bartender and Kingsley join a network of diverse talent committed to creating top-notch content for their devoted audiences. We are huge fans and it’s exciting to get to work with them to build their brands”.
