One of our favourite things to write about on We The Unicorns is the moment YouTubers do things different to daily vlogs or haul videos – whether it’s a book, an award nomination or even a brand new TV show. So we nearly died from excitement when the trailer landed for Sextuber Hannah Witton‘s newest digital venture – Girl on Girl.
Starting on Monday the 21st of March (next week!!), Hannah and a whole host of special guests will be tacking topics and scenarios that are often considered too taboo to talk about anywhere else but the Internet with a close friend. In the trailer (below), the conversations range from swear words, boobs, masturbation, feminism, dating apps and marital rights in what looks to be a truly eye-opening and ground-breaking new YouTube series.
Described as a “safe place to talk about not-so-safe topics”, Hannah plus one special guest each episode will be discussing subjects that are usually challenging to have out-loud. From “comedians, activists, educators, and writers”, the show will “explore all the fantastic, uncomfortable (sometimes fantastically uncomfortable) aspects of being female” – and honestly, we cannot wait.
As huge fans of Hannah’s on the site, we’re really excited to see the new direction she’s taking her progressive and honest YouTube channel, by engaging “opinionated women who are turned on by complex ideas to come together and challenge each other to see things fresh”. The whole Girl on Girl series is filmed in Hannah’s bedroom as well, which adds a very real and quite personal touch to the show. However, as she says in the description, don’t expect anyone “to take their clothes off”, there are other websites dedicated to that kind of sort of viewing.
