Show your support with #prayforhayes

What is happening in 2016?! Every single celebrity is dying, political power has gone crazy and just this week people thought a YouTuber was being held captive by ISIS – so what’s happening now?! Well, it’s not time to relax yet everybody, because news just broke that Hayes Grier has been hospitalised after suffering a pretty scary sounding vehicle accident.

In the middle of the night on the 26th of July, Nash tweeted out to his millions of Twitter followers that he had just “got a call on set that said Hayes was in a crash. He’s now in the hospital”… and understandably everyone freaked out. Within minutes, the tag #prayforhayes was trending worldwide as fans gathered together to show their support and pray for Hayes’ speedy recovery.

Nash went on to describe the harrowing phone call, recalling that Hayes “can move & talk (thank god) but he’s coughed up a lot of blood… damn I hate hearing sh*t like that on the phone, scared me to death”. In the screenshot below, Nash shares a conversation he had with his step-dad Johnnie Floyd where we learn more about the extent of Hayes’ injuries;

“Your brother is pretty busted up right now. Luckily no major stuff. All scans came back negative for any internal bleeding. He does have a concussion, fractured top two ribs and a bruised lung on one side. He is in a lot of pain.”

According to an interview with, a rep for Hayes Grier has stated that the accident was involving a “dirt bike” and not a car like the majority of the Internet is assuming. They continue on to say that “he is OK and currently resting and recovering in the hospital surrounded by his family, where he will remain for the next few days”.

Unfortunately however, whilst friends, family and loved ones were tweeting out their thoughts for Hayes and his health, the other half of the Internet decided to get the tag #hayesisdeadparty trending. In fact, as fans worked tireless hard to defend their idol against such a hateful hashtag, they ironically were using the tag themselves, causing it to soar in popularity. Some people just never learn.
