When it comes to picking the most influential beauty YouTubers in the world, it must be a seriously hard job. On one hand, you could count subscribers and viewers, but there’s also smaller creators who have a much bigger influence and impact on their audience; and let’s not forget the creators going all out with their businesses, shaping the future of the tech, beauty and fashion industries. Tough job, right? Well, the team at financial magazine Forbes set themselves the task, and have come up with the five most influential beauty YouTubers in the entire world.
So, who are the most influential beauty YouTubers?
In no particular order, here are Forbes’ top 5 ladies dominating the online beauty world…
The New Zealand born Shannon Harris has made number five on the list despite, at the time of writing, only being 23 years old. Thanks to millions of adoring fans across the world, Shannon has built an empire that spans not just social media but her own beauty business which includes this lust-worthy palette.
Despite dividing people, Nikkie has come in at number four and we think she really does deserve her place. Another one who has taken her YouTube success and made it into a major beauty business, Nikkie has done a collaboration with beauty giants Too Faced and released the limited edition Power Of MakeUp palette which contained everything you need for a striking look including a purple Better Than Sex mascara.
Don’t @ us but we’d have put Huda at number one. If you didn’t know Huda Kattan from her YouTube channel then you’re bound to have heard the hype around Huda Beauty, the best-selling beauty range that has had creators and makeup artists going crazy around the world. From the now iconic rose gold eyeshadow palette to the liquid matte lip shades and now a range of false nails and lashes, there’s no stopping the stunning Huda and we admire her beauty, brain and grace. What a woman!
It wouldn’t be a list of the most influential beauty YouTubers in the world without Michelle Phan. The OG, Michelle has paved the way for literally millions of beauty YouTubers to follow in her path. As well as millions of followers, Michelle is also an author, inspirational speaker and bad ass business woman. And the latest exciting news? Michelle has just bought her cosmetics line back from L’Oreal and is set to re-release it in April 2017!
Huge congratulations to Zoe Sugg who has been named the most influential beauty YouTuber in the world by Forbes! As well as two best selling books and over 10 million YouTube subscribers, Zoe has really set the bar for what it means to be a businesswoman in 2017. Zoella Beauty continues to expand with collections selling out on a regular basis and the introduction of Zoella Lifestyle only shows that Zoe can turn her hand to anything.
