"I still stand with Felix as my friend, in fact now more than ever because he needs it."

On Saturday 18th Februay, JackSepticEye uploaded a video called "Let's Talk!". Unlike normal Jack videos, which open up with his usual hyperactive opening and spin into a whole video of crazy, colourful fun; this one saw Jack talk openly, and honestly, about the recent controversy surrounding his friend PewDiePie.

"I don't know how to start a video like this because I don't normally make videos like these," admits Jack. "especially ones containing such serious subject matter and very big real world problems".

Jack goes on to say he'll be discussing the "whole Felix, Disney, Nazi, antisemitic debacle that's been going on".

In the twelve minute video (which is not monetised), Jack explains how he initially sent Felix a tweet showing support towards him; however, he explains he does not condone what happened (referring to the actions of PewDiePie) and believes Felix should have been more apologetic in his initial video.

"You can still be friends with someone but not agree with something they do," he adds. "I don't think the world is that black and white".

You can watch the full video below.

However, in an update titled “A follow up…” published on his Tumblr today, Jack offers some further thoughts about his video. In it he explains that his video has garnered mixed views from both his and Felix’s audience; and that he wanted to clarify how he felt about the topic.

"My main regret for this video was focusing too much on what Felix did and whether I agreed with it or not instead of elaborating on the media side of it all," admits Jack.

"Some articles literally called him “Racist” which I mentioned I knew wasn’t true." Jack goes on to say.

Jack ends the Tumblr post by saying he's spoken to Felix in private and very much stands by his friends.
