Billboard released their annual “21 under 21” list, celebrating influential and important pop acts under the age of 21, yesterday. But the inclusion of one “artist” in particular has raised a few eyebrows – Jake Paul.

Appearing at a respectable number 15 on the list, Billboard wrote that Jake “now finds himself on the Billboard charts, making his Hot 100 debut with “It’s Everyday Bro” in June (No. 94 peak), followed by “Jerika” in July (No. 86).” Which aren’t particularly impressive positions, for the record.

People had a lot to say about the inclusion of Jake Paul in the Billboard 21 under 21 list.

“This is literally so disrespectful to the other artists you’ve put in your past lists,” one twitter user wrote. Another simply asked, “why?”
