Jake Paul has gained a little extra notoriety this past week; after reports that neighbours of the Team 10 house plan on taking legal action against them for constantly disturbing the peace. But in a video uploaded yesterday, Jake offers his side of the story; and claims that the neighbours are waging their own war against the house.
“The truth of the matter is they are just as bad as us,” reveals Jake. “They call the cops on us on a day-to-day basis, for no reason.”
“They cuss at the Jake Paulers. Little 12, 13, 14 year-olds; they cuss at you, telling you to go home, telling you that you’re idiots.”
Skip to 4:50 for Jake’s side of the story.
Jake also includes footage taken late at night, of an adult man shouting abuse at a crowd of fans camped outside the Team 10 house.
“That, in a very short summary, is our neighbours,” claims Jake. “They are old people trying to bring down us millennials, and make us look bad.”
There’s no real way of verifying how much Jake’s side of the story checks out. Team 10 are very public about the location of their house; and with their recent notoriety, it wouldn’t take much effort for anyone local to the area to swing by if they felt like trolling Jake and his fans. But we probably won’t truly know the situation until actual legal action takes place.
Meanwhile, reports have been circulating that the Team 10 van was involved in a collision yesterday; after another YouTuber spotted the orange “JP”-branded bus being towed at the side of the road. So we can probably look forward to that being “content” later today…
