Jeffree Star Just Took Drastic Action To Prove He Isn't Copying Kylie Jenner

This is how you avoid your third lawsuit of the year.
Jeffree Star has leaked his own makeup range in a bid to pre-emptively avoid copying rumours, after Kylie Jenner's recently-announced range bared some striking similarities to his own upcoming line.
Last night, Jeffree Star took to Snapchat to discuss Kylie Jenner's new makeup range, which was announced on 26th July.
His review was less than glowing. He said, "She’s putting out so many products, it’s a little overwhelming! The collections are just non-stop! The colors in this one? Not really obsessed with, it kind of feels like the Valentine’s collection to me a little bit, but that’s OK. Not every makeup brand is gonna come out with stuff that we’re always gonna love."
But the problems didn't start or end with Jeffree's personal views on the range.
The colour scheme that Kylie used on the packaging for her range - baby pink glitter - is the same that Jeffree used on the packaging for his products.
"I’m a little shook," Jeffree said on Snapchat. "I’ve gotta leak it now — my entire packaging for Holiday coming in November is ALL pink glitter."
He continued: "Not just the box. Now, my boxes and my packaging is not pink glitter like Kylie’s. But the actual components — the lipstick, the lip scrub, the Skin Frost, the plastic, is all baby pink glitter... So I knew I had to leak it now because I know that when it comes out in a few months, or when I post pictures, people are gonna be like “Did you copy…?” I mean, this happens all the time."
So Jeffree uploaded a teaser video of some of the products from his upcoming Holiday collection to Instagram.

Jeffree's Holiday range is due out in November.
The leak comes just a few days after Jeffree was accused of copying another makeup brand.
On 17th July, court documents emerged revealing that independent makeup brand Lunatick was suing Jeffree for copyright infringement over the design of his Lip Ammunition lipstick range, which they said copied the design of their Apocalipsticks lipsticks range.
