Founded back in Fall 2015, Awestruck is the newest the digital network set up by AwesomenessTV that aims to be a “first of its kind network and lifestyle brand for the millennial mom”. It’s female-centric line-up hosts a whole range of programming from scripted and unscripted shows, docu-reality series, plus comedy and DIY series. But brand new for 2016 is a YouTube creator destined to send their ratings sky-high with her trend-setting and jaw-dropping beauty channel – it’s Kandee Johnson!
Signed up for a multi-year deal, Kandee will not only continue her YouTube content with a tighter support network, but also appear in her own series about life as a mom of four as well as many other of AwesomenessTV’s other shows. As one of YouTube’s most beloved beauty guru’s, we can’t wait to see what Awestruck has planned for Kandee and her 3.6 million strong following – will we see anymore of her iconic makeup transformations?
Awestruck, now nearing it’s first birthday, was established by Big Frame founder Sarah Penna in collaboration with AwesomenessTV to create “a community and destination for the quick entertainment, information and conversation [mothers] crave – because moms have needs too”. Their programming is distributed across YouTube and Verizon’s Go90 platform alongside the four exclusively commissioned shows announced earlier this year – Paging Dr. Andy, Awestruck Unboxing, Haul For Less, and Watch This Not That.
Kandee joins a glittering line-up from Awestruck’s team of creators and stars including the Star Trek and Guardians of the Galaxy actress Zoe Saldana and her sisters Mariel and Cisely, as well as Jersey Shore alumni Snooki and J-Woww.
