So far, today’s ongoing meltdown in Pewdiepie’s career has included being dropped from his Disney-owned network and his YouTube Red show being cancelled. So while it might seem like Felix isn’t gaining any new friends quickly, he still has some support; even if it is his biggest rival, KSI.
KSI calls the situation “absolutely ridiculous” as he comes out in support of Pewdiepie.
In a Tweet posted this morning, JJ blasts network Maker for dropping Felix “over a joke”; defending his position despite a long period of “beef” between the two creators.
As a refresher, Pewdiepie’s “joke” involved him paying creators on the website Fiverr to hold up a sign that reads “Death To All Jews”. The video has been hailed on numerous white supremacy sites as a sign that Felix is on “their side”.
The reaction to KSI’s Tweet has been mixed.
Some see this as the beginning of a new friendship, while others are calling JJ out for both his defense of antisemitic jokes, and for his alleged hypocrisy.
