This is the end of days.
It's a hard day on the Internet today, as we have the sad news to deliver to you that famous Internet rapper Matty B will no longer be posting regular tweets or posts to his Facebook for a while - as he's officially grounded from the Internet. After sharing an emotional picture of himself to his fanbase, the trend #FreeMattyB appeared in the hopes that social media could change his parents' mind.
The 13-year-old rapper, who's been gaining mad views on YouTube after launching his career on The Wendy Williams Show and Good Morning America when he was only seven, shared two truly harrowing images to his Twitter account on the night of October 3rd. However, it wasn't until Matty abruptly announced that he was "grounded from the Internet" that fans started freaking TF out.

Things started off rocky for the talented tweenager when he tweeted a photograph of his messed up jeans captioned with his current location, outside the "principal's office". Whether or not Matty intended to work on his bad boy image is unclear, but it sure looks like he had landed himself into a big silly pile of mess. Fans started getting "worried" and freaked out that he might be in detention... but the worst was yet to come.
Five hours later, Matty announced the heart shattering news... because of his prior antics at school he had "just [been] grounded from the Internet". He apologises for tearing a hole in his fanbase's heart, but promises that he will "explain when [he] can", so if you can hold on, Matty will answer all your questions very very soon.

We'll leave the final word with Matty, who tweeted out just hours before his incarceration that "they say that we reckless. They say we can't do it our own way. They can't promise tomorrow so let's live for today". He's truly one of the most inspirational leaders of our time. #FreeMattyB
