We’ve seen and reported on some of the most shocking ‘pranks’ here on the Internet; from YouTubers being jailed for a fake robbery to a vlogger putting chilli sauce on his girlfriend’s tampon. But now the latest dose of YouTube “banter” comes in the form of vlogger, No Biggie, taking it upon himself to upload another video in the YouTube pranking saga.
No Biggie, real name Yerv, is known for using song lyrics to prank his friends in front of his almost 400,000 subscribers. Usually, this is just harmless pranking fun, but the YouTuber took it one step too far when he uploaded the video “Pranking my GAY FRIEND with The Chainsmokers “Closer” Lyrics!!! [GONE HORRIBLY WRONG]” almost a month ago.
In the video that has been criticised by many online, Yerv attempted to fool his gay friend, who also happens to be a YouTuber, by texting him The Chainsmokers ‘Closer’ lyrics. Whilst hitting on him, Yerv also ended up using the opportunity to poke fun at not only him, but the rest of the LGBT community.
The video began by Yerv stating that the YouTuber he was pranking had an ego that went “through the roof” and that he fell into the “second type of gay dude” category who are “sassy” and “always trying to hit on you.” If that wasn’t offensive enough, he then went on to the text prank where he had saved his friends name as “Gay Guy With No Chill”.
As the ‘prankster’ continued to hit on the fellow YouTuber, who obviously flirted back, Yerv seemed to be upset by the nature of his messages and even pretended to vomit at them whilst on camera.
This sickening act of homophobia has seen over one million views since it was uploaded on 28th August and the comments are thankfully full of people calling out the No Biggie channel for being so inappropriate.
