Dan Howell’s edition of the ‘diss yourself’ challenge is hilarious and now – it’s on iTunes! The only problem is … it shouldn’t be. You see, when the song appeared on the iTunes music store, it took everyone by surprise:
Fans initially (and reasonably) thought that it was Dan himself who had put the song up, but Dan revealed that it was instead someone else:
It was then we realised that we had something of a robbery on our hands and that someone was trying to use Dan’s song to get money off his fans. Happily, Dan indicated that it was an easy problem to fix:
He also seemed pretty calm about the situation:
In fact, fans were stunned by his composure:
Dan also jokingly commented that he had studied IP (Intellectual Property) during his first year at university (he of course studied law):
It’s safe to say that whoever did this is going to be in some pretty big trouble pretty damn soon. We’ll keep you posted if there are any developments.
