Toby Turner‘s ex girlfriends have been pretty forthcoming since the one-time YouTube star was accused of multiple accounts of sexual abuse, as well as those around him spilling all about his seemingly hardcore drug abuse.
Since April Fletcher first published her Tumblr post outlining, in detail, the apparent horrific experiences she faced at the hands of Toby “Tobuscus” Turner, the Internet has been acting as judge, jury and executioner with YouTube fans across the globe weighing in with their thoughts on whether Toby is guilty.
One of the most dramatic turns in the Tobuscus case came in the form of videos from American Jaclyn Glenn and Irish beauty YouTuber Melanie Murphy. In her video, Jaclyn appears to call out April and claims parts of her story are inconsistent. Jaclyn continues to discuss her relationship with Toby and the times he pressured her to “do things” she felt uncomfortable with as well as his history for cheating.
One of the women that Toby Turner cheated on Jaclyn Glenn with was Melanie Murphy. The UK beauty and lifestyle YouTuber has been a favourite of ours for years so we were taken back to see her caught up in the scandal. However, those who follow her vlogs will know that Murphy recently moved to LA and lived with Turner. Melanie dated Toby Turner and claimed to have left the relationship due to his cheating and unreasonable behaviour.
When allegations came to light, Melanie seemingly agreed with Jaclyn and tweeted her support.
This weekend saw Playlist Live happen and brought both Jaclyn Glenn and Melanie Murphy face to face. Over the weekend, the girls’ social media accounts were filled with selfies of the two of them together so it’s come as no surprise to see that they’ve used the Toby Turner scandal to make a video together.
The video, uploaded to Melanie’s channel, focusses on how to deal with the haters- something both Jaclyn and Melanie have faced recently. The girls open the video by explaining their unlikely new friendship and how they feel no hate towards one another, despite Turner dating them both at the same time.
Speaking of their initial videos about their relationships with Turner, the girls spoke about their decisions to upload and publishing their stories: “We made our videos to have our voices heard” says Melanie before Jaclyn adds “We didn’t have a choice”.
As the video continues, the pair share their experiences with trolls, fake accounts and random internet users who abuse them on YouTube, Twitter, Instagram and other forms of social media. The girls claim they made the video to offer advice to those who are facing hate and bullying in the workplace, at school or online.

At the time of writing, Turner has denied the allegations but rumours are circulating that April Fletcher may well be taking her allegations to court. We’ll update you once we know more.
