Yup, it happened folks. Dan and Phil got their own emoji for the BRIT Awards. Zoella got her own emoji when she released her own book. And now, to round up 2016 and finally make us feel better about life and the state of the world in general, Troye Sivan now has his own emoji! In the run up to the Australian Arias Awards, Troye and some of his fellow nominees have been given the eternal gift of their own face as a tiny ‘lil emoji… and we can’t get enough of it.
Along with Delta Goodrem, The Veronica’s and Sia, Troye’s emoji face is now live on Twitter once you use the tag #ARIASTroye in any of your tweets. You’ll notice straight off the bat that it celebrates Mr Sivan and his gorgeous nose ring and button chin combination. As you can see from his tweet below, Troye was nearly as excited about using it as his fanbase were (please note that he uses seven exclamation marks).
The emoji’s came around to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Arias, in which Australia’s most talented musicians are celebrated for their work in the music industry. Troye Sivan, as well as being nominated seven times over the whole event, will also be performing on the night. But if you want to get involved and win this boy an Aria, then there’s still a way to show him some love.
If you head over to the official Arias website (if you’re in Australia!!), you can vote for Troye to win the Best Single category with banger anthem, ‘Youth’, as well as winning Video Of The Year. So what are you waiting for?! Go cast your vote, and then come back here to enjoy this emoji just slightly more than we already have been…
