Have you ever looked at friendship bracelets, and thought “these would be better if they vibrated”? Maybe not before now, but “Twinkl” wants to change the way you and your best friends interact; in the sweetest way possible.
This friendship bracelet, being released soon in Denmark, comes with five customisable charms that work as buttons; and if you tap one, the friend or family member it has been assigned to will feel their own bracelet vibrate. Selling for $60, it’s an adorable (albeit pricey) way of letting someone you love know you’re thinking of them.
Not only is Twinkl a way of connecting with your friends and family; but soon it could also be used to connect to your favourite YouTubers. Engadget reports that a handful of Danish creators have signed up to work with the bracelet; and as a unique promotion, they’ll be selling their own charm, using its vibration to notify Twinkl-wearing fans of exclusive behind-the-scenes content.
Not much has been revealed about the bracelet’s release date, or where it will be available; but we found this weird promo video with only 9 views, which led us to the Twinkl website. People with epilepsy should stay clear, but a flashing gif is counting down the days; possibly until release.
Stay tuned for more…
