And we couldn’t be any prouder.

All corners of the Internet were celebrated last night at the annual Webby Awards which are renowned for giving recognition to absoluetly anything and everything on the Web. The huge celebration saw its 20th awards ceremony last night and acknowledged the achievements of almost everyone who has the pleasure of working on the Internet. Of course, we knew that #TeamInternet would come out on top with the 2016 winners having already been announced earlier this year – but that still didn’t stop us fan girling when we saw Tyler Oakley pick up the award for the Best Web Personality.

So, if you still have no idea what we’re talking about, the Webby Awards aim to honour the best of everything on the Internet and last nights ceremony in New York City was no different. Our favourite Parks and Rec star Nick Offerman hosted the awards and challenged the winners to create their own five word speech with the hashtag #Webbys5WordSpeech – does he still not know you actually get 140 characters on Twitter? However, it wasn’t just about Internet stars winning the awards, Josh and Daniel were snapping them over on the Webbys Snapchat and they even had the honour of covering the red carpet. Damn Daniel!

As we’ve already mentioned, our favourite vlogger and all round perfect human being, Tyler Oakley, bagged himself his very own Webby Award but as well as picking up the Webby Award for Best Web Personality, Tyler also picked up Chloe The Mini Frenchie AKA the cutest Internet dog in the world and it gave us way too many feels.

Whilst Tyler was too busy holding adorable animals, our YouTube comedy favourites, CollegeHumor, were imaging a world without email in their hilarious sketch that you definitely need to see.

If you happened to miss the ceremony last night, the official Webby Awards website is streaming the whole show online so you can catch up on all the action, but if you just want the low down on this years award winners then click here to see our definitive list of Webby Award winners you need to see.
