So we’ve been talking about YouTube Red a long time, particularly about its pros and cons, but most importantly we all been dying to see all of the juicy original content that was going to be released! Well, after months of waiting and numerous replays on their respective debut trailers, we now officially have a premiere date for what will easily be the most watched shows on the entire Internet – February 10th!
This will be the first batch of content to be released by YouTube Red since it was announced last year, so you can expect to see the following shows next week – Lazer Team, Scare PewDiePie, A Trip To Unicorn Island and Dance Camp! Announced on their official blog this week, Susanne Daniels said that the best is yet to come, “We have lots more thrills, chills, LOLs, smiles, romances, and surprises from more of your favourite YouTube stars coming later this year”.
With the launch of the first YouTuber-centric content literally on the horizon, you can now sign up to YouTube Red and get your first month for free and only $10 after that. So make sure you sign up to receive uninterrupted YouTube content, a premium YouTube Music experience and access to “original series and movies from some of our top creators” that certainly “rival many cable TV show”.

Lazer Team –
One of the special feature length originals coming from YouTube Red first from the team behind Rooster Teeth and Fullscreen Films. It follows the chaos when four small-town losers find a UFO with some strange cargo aboard. Can they save Earth from a crazy alien space war? You’ll have to subscribe to find out!
Scare PewDiePie –
A “reality-adventure” series that aims to put PewDiePie through all the terrifying situations he experiences in his video games. This series is brought to you by the creators and executive producers of The Walking Dead, so expect thrills, child and nervous laughter from Felix from start to finish!
A Trip To Unicorn Island –
This feature-length documentary gives hardcore fans of Lilly Singh/IISuperwomanII a BTS look into the life and journey of a YouTube star as she embarks on a 26-city global tour. It’s a beautiful reminder of Lilly’s most beautiful message, “Happiness is the only thing worth fighting for”
Dance Camp –
From AwesomenessTV comes a story of what happens when unbridled passion collides with totally opposite people, and the creation of a beautiful friendship that blossoms through the power of dance. The premiere stars Meg deAngelis and Nadji Jeter.
