Look out, Donald Trump and Co, YouTubers are headed your way. Fox News, which is hosting the next debate for Republican (GOP) presidential candidates, has announced that some of the questions that form the debate will be posed by YouTube creators. This is a part of a larger deal that Google (who owns YouTube) has made with Fox News.
Fox has not yet announced which creators will be taking part, but seeing as the most popular YouTube creators always seem to skew left, politically, it will be interesting to see whether Fox looks for YouTubers who have Republican leanings or decides to use liberal YouTubers to create friction among the candidates. We’ll have all the info as soon as it lands. Overall, 2016 has been very political for YouTubers. Recently a whole host of our faves interviewed the President.
