One of the nicest things about YouTube is its sense of community and welcoming nature. YouTubers frequently collaborate, become friends and generally just create a magical atmosphere of loving togetherness, joy and unconditional love.
But then again… It’s also absolutely amazing when someone decides to throw all of that out of the window and then burn it when it lands. We’re not talking about trolling (which is basic AF) or bullying (snap), we’re talking about biting, painfully accurate, painfully hilarious parody. The best people in life are the ones who are able to laugh at themselves, so why should the YouTube community be any different? Let’s jump in:
1. JacksFilms Does Not Hold Back
Jack has always had an attitude that says ‘no, I will NOT be a cuddly YouTube personality’. However you feel about that, the results are just too funny. In this video Jack brutally slays some of our YouTube faves. Now, before you get all mad n’ angry remember: 1. It’s just a bit of fun and 2. Jack is actually pals with a lot of these guys, so the impressions are good-natured … mostly:
2. Adrian Bliss Is Slaying Daily Vloggers
At its best, Vlogging can be insightful, funny, heart-warming, relatable and a whole load of other beautiful things. At it’s worst, it’s someone who’s dead-behind-the-eyes desperately trying to sell you things while telling you about their boring day living as a person who’s-dead-behind-the-eyes desperately trying to sell you things. YouTube has a weird and hugely entertaining kind of justice – when a bad trend starts to happen, someone will always notice and parody the holy hell out of it until it’s fixed. Here YouTuber Adrian Bliss expertly parodies what daily vlogs can be at their worst:
Here’s another, just cos they’re so on-point:
3. GoldVision Is The Opposite Of Every Other YouTuber Gamer
When you think of popular YouTube gamers, you think of energy. PewDiePie, Markiplier, JackSepticEye – these guys are beloved because they bring it and they bring it big. GoldVision is the complete opposite. He only uses monotone narration and his videos almost always (hilariously and touchingly) dissolve into highly philosophical lessons about life itself. For example, here’s a screenshot from a video he made about Mario Kart 8, where he’s talking about his least favourite things to do as a YouTube gamer:
He does all this while at the same time managing to parody popular games with incredible accuracy. Seriously he’s awesome:
