So we’ve all been hyped since the initial announcement that some of the UK’s biggest YouTubers were planning an event; but fans of Zoella, Caspar Lee, KSI et all have been waiting on tenterhooks for more info. At last, we finally have all the details for the upcoming ‘HelloWorld Live’ – find out everything you need to know below.
What is HelloWorld Live?
The event promises to be an immersive 5-hour long show; that brings together some of the biggest YouTube stars in the world. Headliners include Alife Deyes, Zoella, Joe Sugg, Rose & Rosie and Jim Chapman; but this is just the tip of the iceberg of all the talent promised to attend.
HelloWorld is reportedly set to be laid out like its own little town; with its own Main Street full of shops, funfair, other attractions and even its own weather, fans can expect their own special kind of Disneyland, but with YouTubers, where they can interact with their favourite creators in a range of fun, exciting and competitive ways.
After “sunset”, the main live portion of the event will kick off in the “Emoji House”; where games, live interviews and a Musical.ly video are just a few of the planned features of this massive event.
Where and when is it?
HelloWorld is taking place on the last weekend of October at the Birmingham Genting Arena. This is a pretty exciting time to hold the event; as an autumn date means it likely won’t clash with any other YouTube events happening around the world.
The earliest anyone can get in is at 11:30am, with a VIP ticket – and the full event will go on until around 6pm. A little earlier than your average convention, but HelloWorld looks set to keep you occupied the who time you’re there!
To confirm, the dates of the event are the 28th and 29th of October; but it’s a one-day event, so don’t stress out about getting tickets for both dates.
Who is going?
At the moment, the lineup is already looking pretty major – nine of the UK’s biggest creators are currently confirmed to attend, with more on the way.
At the moment, the HelloWorld Live lineup is:
- Joe Sugg
- Rose & Rosie
- Jim Chapman
- Marcus Butler
- Caspar Lee
- Louise Pentland
Where can I get tickets?
Tickets are now on sale via the HelloWorld website! You can also register there to be notified of more updates before the event.
Ticket pricing tiers are as follows:
- SEATS – £27.50 (£31.98 after transaction fees)
This tier is for a seat at the live show only, has a later entry time, and doesn’t come with access to Main Street.
- STANDING – £49 (£56.27 after transaction fees)
This tier allows access to Main Street and the live show at the end of the day. No access to seating
- VIP STANDING – £99 (£112.77 after transaction fees)
VIP comes with a full day pass equivalent to Standing, but with added perks: early entry, HelloWorld merch, an “onstage greeting” from the stars on the lineup and a “guided tour” from one of the creators.
The event is doing its best to discourage buying touted tickets to avoid fraud – so if you can’t buy from the site for some reason, find out the official sellers ahead of time.
There will be plenty more info rolling out about HelloWorld live between now and October; so keep checking back here for more updates.
