Jack Maynard wants to return to the "I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here" jungle to "prove" himself after he was removed from last year's season.

Speaking to Good Morning Britain, the YouTuber, who was kicked out of the British reality show in 2017 after old tweets in which he used the N-word resurfaced, recounted the moment he was told he would have to leave the ITV show.

"It was pretty horrible. It was quite scary to be honest," he told GMB. "I got taken out first thing in the morning and didn’t really know what was going on. I went to the medical hut to be greeted by the producers who didn’t really tell me much at the time. They just said there had been some accusations and we have to take you out of the show"

He continued: "So obviously I was kind of panicking and not sure what was happening. Eventually got back to the hotel, got my phone, spoke to my manager and my brother and that’s when I really found out what had happened. It was completely blown out of my control."

Despite his first stint in the jungle coming to an abrupt end, Jack isn't deterred from taking up the challenge again. "I think I would go back in to prove myself," Jack said. "I didn’t get the worst of it while I was in there, maybe I deserve it who knows, so maybe I should go in there to face my biggest fears."

Jack added that he hopes his fans can learn from the backlash he faced. He said: "If I can have one thing from what happened, It would be my fans and younger following learning from the mistakes that I made with things I said online."
