In honour of International Women’s Day, we found out who your biggest faves are: in order!

International Women’s Day is as good a day as any to celebrate the ladies of YouTube we love to watch. And as well as seeing how various YouTubers were celebrating, we decided to pay homage to some of the female creators who are making huge waves in the industry and community!

Thanks to some data from Tubular Labs, we’ve been able to pin down your top 10 female creators in the UK right now; all who have been ranked by a mix of their recent growth in subscribers, views, and all-round channel size. Some of the results might surprise you, so scroll on to find out more!

10. Patricia Bright

  • Subscriber Growth in January: 16.7K
  • Subscriber total: 706K
  • Views in January: 1.9 million

Beauty guru and mother-to-be Patricia has had an exciting few months! Not only has she been uploading constantly; but with her due date only a few weeks away, has seen a lot of success with more pregnancy-related vlogs!

9. Estée Lalonde

  • Subscriber Growth in January: 10.2K
  • Subscriber total: 1 million
  • Views in January: 2.5 million

Canada-born Estée went through a rebranding in mid-2015, ditching the “Essiebutton” moniker and moving away from beauty vlogs. She has since become a TLC ambassador, a lifestyle vlogging superstar; and soon to be yet another author with her upcoming book BLOOM!

8. Niomi Smart

  • Subscriber Growth in January: 20.5K
  • Subscriber total: 1.5 million
  • Views in January: 3.3 million

A high-profile break-up hasn’t been enough to keep Niomi away from the spotlight: Her lifestyle channel is still growing, and her co-founded health food business Sourced Box is one of the most unique YouTuber-led ventures to date!

7. Samantha Maria

  • Subscriber Growth in January: 12.2K
  • Subscriber total: 1.7 million
  • Views in January: 2.6 million

So far we’re seeing a trend in the UK’s biggest exports being lifestyle vloggers – but this doesn’t diminish the efforts of Samantha Maria. Her strong growth in recent months combined with her focus on YouTube and Twitter earns her a spot in the top 10!

6. Louise Pentland

  • Subscriber Growth in January: 9.1K
  • Subscriber total: 2.4 million
  • Views in January: 2.9 million

Everyone’s favourite YouTube mum is still going strong at #6! With a hugely successful 2015 already being followed up with the recent release of a brand new SimplyBe clothing line, we can expect even bigger things to happen for Louise (and Darcy!) in 2016.

5. Dodie Clark

  • Subscriber Growth in January: 29.4K
  • Subscriber total: 403K
  • Views in January: 3.6 million

Dodie has been an absolute dark horse this past year – she might be the least subscribed person in this list, but she’s had the fastest channel growth out of everyone except the top two. With a mix of music, vlogs and near constant optimism, her fans love her, her fellow creators love her; and so do we!

Everyone’s favourite all-rounder Emma has definitely been getting the recognition she deserves! Stretching her influence across three channels and keeping a excellent balance between music, comedy and vlogs on her main, Emma has become a force to be reckoned with.

  • Subscriber total: 3.4 million
  • Views in January: 5 million

Ever the mainstay in any list of influential female YouTubers, Tanya’s consistent upload schedule of lifestyle vlogs as well as her awesome cover shoot for Glamour has put her firmly in at #3!

  • Subscriber total: 1.8 million
  • Views in January: 44.2 million

Gamers represent! Lizzie’s channel, best know for her Minecraft series “Shadowcraft”, is a huge source of inspiration for female gamers everywhere. Her videos are always fun to watch;  Plus she’s completely adorable!

  • Subscriber Growth in January: 197K
  • Subscriber total: 10.2 million
  • Views in January: 23.3 million

Who else, honestly? Zoe is still without a doubt the most unstoppable force in UK YouTube. With her recent 10 million subscriber milestone and a sequel to novel Girl Online, Zoe will likely be sitting in the top spot for a long time!
