We the Unicorns

By Hollie-Anne Brooks

There are two types of people in the world; those that have YouTube channels and those that don't. For those that don't, some of them would quite like to babble on the Internet about wine/gaming/body confidence/cheese but then they're struck with The Fear.

If you're one of those people, we can totally relate. Although we reckon you should bite the bullet and just do it.

When you worry about using your full name

When you face the shame of knowing you'll be filming your first videos on an iPhone

Not knowing whether to do a "What's In My Bag?" or "Monthly Favourites" first

Your friends/gran/teacher/cat asking "So, are you going to be the next Zoella?"

Constantly comparing yourself to Jenna Marbles/PewDiePie/The Shaytards

Wondering how you'll fit in the time to write, film, edit, upload etc

Being scared people think you're in it for the money (lol)

The stress of picking an awesome username- this will be your brand

Finally, being terrified you'll be utterly rubbish at it (you won't, FYI)
