Will the 'immersive live show' return for 2018? Here's everything you need to know.

Hello World Live was one of the biggest, and most controversial, YouTuber events of 2017. After all the various drama about VIP tickets and YouTuber interactions, the question on everyone's lips is: will it return for 2018? The answer appears to be yes. The official Hello World website states: "Helloworld 2018 is going to be even better (than 2017) so watch this space!"

It's worth noting that on their official website the event is referred to as 'Hello World', 'HelloWorld' and 'Helloworld', so god only knows what this event is actually called. The 2017 edition was known as 'Hello World Live', but it seems they've dropped the 'live' for 2018.

Why wouldn't it?

Following the generally negative press the event received, despite its stellar line-up, the event organisers might not wish to risk the same drama again. Some of the bigger YouTubers in the line-up were shareholders in the event and so they might not want to risk their brand being damaged, especially as some of them have had a shaky end of 2017.

Will things be different from 2017?

There's no way of discussing Hello World without touching upon the more controversial aspects of the 2017 convention, namely the wave of complaints from fans and parents about everything from the expensive tickets, to the lack of meet and greets, to the lack of disabled access.

We spoke to the organisers of Hello World, to try and get some answers on how they're going to make things bigger and better in 2018.

What will the 2018 line-up be?

The line-up has not yet been announced, but we'll be the first to let you know when more info comes out. Last year's line-up included: Zoella, Joe Sugg, KSI, Rose & Rosie, Jim Chapman, Marcus Butler, Pointlessblog, Caspar Lee and Louise Pentland, so there's a chance some of these names may be returning for this year's edition.
