What is Liza On Demand?

Liza On Demand is an upcoming YouTube Red show starring YouTube star Liza Koshy. The show features Liza (playing a fictionalised version of herself) as she tries out different jobs each week.

Over 8 half-hour episodes the series, which will be aired on premium YouTube subscription service YouTube Red, Liza will "takes on various gigs, tasks and odd jobs in her quest to climb the ranks and become an 'elite tasker'."

“I can’t wait to bring #LizaOnDemand to my YouTube audience and hopefully a new audience too,” Liza has said.

YouTube's head of original content was equally excited for the show to kick off: “Liza Koshy is an imaginative entertainer who loves to bring the audience along for the ride — and when she commits to a character, she is not afraid to go for it,” said Susanne Daniels. “Her meteoric rise on YouTube is proof that her style of comedy is resonating with millions of fans.”

As well as Liza herself, the show will feature actors Kimiko Glenn (Nerve, Orange is the New Black, Drunk History) and Travis Coles (By the Book, Superstore, Great News).

Who is making Liza On Demand?

The series will feature a whole host of directors, including: Todd Biermann (Alone Together, It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia), Anna Mastro (Shameless, The Bold Type, Lost Generation, Jane the Virgin), Heath Cullens (You’re the Worst, It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia), and Deborah Kaplan & Harry Elfont (Josie and the Pussycats, Mary + Jane, Can’t Hardly Wait). Some talented folks all-round.
