Proving magazine covers aren't exclusive for models and A listers
With Miranda Sings gracing the cover of Variety magazine today we thought we would look back at other YouTubers who have killed it on the cover of some incredible publications.
Proving magazines aren't exclusive for models and A-Listers, these YouTubers have created some beautiful images and made esteemed editors finally get what all the fuss is about.
Troye Sivan for Rolling Stone
Okay, so it doesn't get much cooler than this. Troye has officially joined the likes of David Bowie, Obama, Lady Gaga and the Pope who have all also been cover stars for this iconic magazine. Plus doesn't he look pretty.
Bethany Mota for Latina
Bethany is sizzling on this stunning front cover of Latina. The dress, the hair and that smokey eye is just spot on. It is also amazing to see Bethany recognise and honour fellow bilingual, bicultural Hispanic women. Yes Bethany!
Michelle Phan for NYLON
Beauty Internet Queen Michelle Phan looked incredibly cool on the cover of NYLON and we just love the video she created with them. This fashion mag celebrates both New York and London and loves featuring an array of amazing cities and the creatives that live in them. So it is no wonder that they choose Michelle Phan who has hand crafted her own amazing global brand to appear on their cover.
Tanya Burr, TomSka, Charlie McDonnell and Jamal Edwards for Wired
One of the first publications to champion YouTubers way back in 2013 was Wired magazine. Not focussing on fluff or personalities, Wired is all about the business side and celebrates online industries. It was great to see our fave YouTubers being celebrated for being innovative and entertaining.
Zoella for Dolly Magazine
After such amazing feedback from fans, Australian mag Dolly invited Zoe Sugg back to be their cover girl for the second time. This cover embodies everything Zoe is about, pastel beach house colours, cosy bedding, balloons and an approachable smile.
Don't Huge Me I'm Scared for Printed Pages
To celebrate the final episode this artsy independent publication managed to get interviews with the characters themselves resulting in a cool, quirky and unexpected collaboration. This issue is out now.
Sacconne Joly's for Surrey Downs
It is always nice to see successful YouTubers working with smaller local magazines. This cover is just too cute and we love how simple and friendly the photography is, a great representation of this adorable family.
What is your fave cover? Are there any Magazines you would love to have vloggers appear on their cover?
