The Inbetweeners is one of the most beloved British comedies of all time - it's American remake, on the other hand, is not. Unlike the UK original, the American version is one of the most hated television projects of the 21 century - just look at the dislikes on the trailer:




Why is that, though? Is it just bitterness from British people, who are annoyed that a show made entirely in English still inexplicably needed to be 'translated' for American audiences?
