Ever thought of studying for a diploma in beauty vlogging? Us too! Imagine spending hours crafting up a presentation about Bethany Mota, writing an essay on the history of Zoella or taking a test on all things Patricia Bright. Sounds too good to be true, right? Well think again because YouTube are officially making this happen.
Teaming up with beauty big-wigs L'Oreal, YouTube are launching their beauty vlogger school to help aspiring stars gain all the skills they need. And the good news is, you'll be able to partake at home as it's all being streamed on YouTube. Ten lucky French YouTubers will enrol on the programme for six months and graduate with a "BeautyTUBE" diploma. The students are expected to study everything from camera production and editing skills to the ins and outs of the beauty industry to ensure they're the most clued up vloggers out there.
At the time of writing, nothing has been confirmed as to whether YouTube will bring their beauty school to the UK or the US but we're certainly hoping so. We'll be tuning into the content later this year and soaking up as many top tips as we can.
Now there's no excuse not to turn the camera on and pick up that blending brush.
Fancy brushing up on your French beauty YouTubers? You're in luck! Whilst the French tend to be similar to us and love the likes of Zoe Sugg, Tanya Burr and Michelle Phan, they've also got their own clan of amazing talent. Our top tip? Subscribe to EnjoyPhoenix, AKA Marie. Marie's channel is filled with gorgeous beauty tutorials, easy to follow hair tutorials, room tours and even the odd Primark haul. And don't worry if you don't speak French, YouTube is seemingly a universal language and we never fail to understand when someone's contouring game is on point!
