We the Unicorns

It was incredible.

Turns out Summer in the City isn't just about the panels and the meet and greets, it's also the number one place to get all of the exclusives on what your favourite YouTubers have been getting up to. From screenings such as Bertie Gilbert's 'Let It Be' to The Midnight Beasts' 'All Killer', we were more than up to date with what's going on in the YouTube world.

Of course, this was no different when Ben Brown and Steve Booker premiered their newest adventure #MissionSelfie on Sunday and took to the panel table to introduce it to us all.

The duo, most known for uploading videos to YouTube, have branched out and created a five part series with BBC Worldwide to capture the beauty of our planet. The idea of the series is to flip the camera from selfie mode and capture what is right in front of you, rather than yourself. We managed to get an exclusive look at the first episode, which was around 20 minutes long, and it saw them paragliding, rock climbing and almost falling off the edge of a cliff just to get a good shot.

The next four episodes shall see Ben and Steve travelling to different countries around the world to capture each location differently. If you already can't wait to see it, then never fear. The whole five episodes will premiere on BBC iPlayer this Friday (19th August 2016) and if you don't want to wait until then, you can check out the Mission Selfie Instagram account where the team have posted some of their best shots whilst filming the series and travelling around the world.

If you have also seen a sneak peak of Ben and Steve's new series, then let us know what you thought in the comments and make sure to keep your eyes peeled for more SitC features on the site soon.
