Bertie releases his music video debut for The Crookes' "Roman Candle" - and it's the most motivational thing you'll watch this week.

If you haven't heard of The Crookes before now, they're an indie rock band with some seriously '80s vibes. And for their latest single "Roman Candle", someone had the brilliant idea of putting one of our favourite filmmakers in charge of directing the music video.

As always, Bertie Gilbert went above and beyond in his '80s-esque mind trip for the single. He casts fellow creator Khyan Mansley as a janitor who dreams of (nay, obsesses over) becoming a dancer; and everything takes a delightfully sinister turn as he and his broom follow his passion. It's weird, it's got a bunch of cameos - and we can't lie, the song is a total jam.
