On the 24th of February, one of the biggest music awards in the entire world is going to take place - The BRIT Awards. For 2016, it's hoped that this show will be "the most digital [awards] ever" and by enlisting every single social media platform plus Dan and Phil to host their YouTube lifestream, we think they're going to be absolutely right.

Across Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat and Vine you'll be able to find specialist and unique coverage of the UK's BRIT Awards, so make sure that even though you're not going to be there sharing a table with Coldplay, you know exactly what everyone is up to on the night. But let's not forget the most important platform of the whole show as it was announced that it would be hosting the official global live stream for it's third consecutive year - YouTube.

Hosting the YouTube live stream will be two of the most famous Internet faces to have risen out of the vlogging scene since it's rise to popularity, Dan Howell and Phil Lester. They'll be joined by their red carpet correspondent Kingsley who's been flown in from the USA for the special BRITs assignment. The stream will be live from 8pm GMT on Wednesday the 24th of February to be viewed globally - however, this excludes the UK. We don't know why either.

However, we've not even told you the best news yet. Emmy Lovelly, the chair of the BRITs digital committee recently said that "this year is shaping up to be an incredible year for the BRITs in the digital world and [she's] excited to be introducing new platforms and initiatives to bring the show to an even bigger audience". One of these new and exciting innovations are... the official Dan and Phil emoji's!

Exclusively released on Twitter, you can start tweeting #DanAndPhilBRITS from today and their two beautiful faces will appear on your feed. Emoji's have been made for a limited period to support some of the biggest BRIT-nominated acts such as Little Mix, Coldplay and Justin Bieber - so we nearly fainted when we saw Dan and Phil had been given the emoji treatment too.

If you're planning on watching the Live Stream and joining in the conversation, make sure you give us a cheeky follow as we'll be talking nonstop Dan and Phil all night long!
