Caspar is off to meet the lady herself at an exciting ceremony...
So Caspar Lee has been doing a lot for his home in South Africa recently; but his latest big achievement involves something a little closer to the UK. Because last night, Caspar revealed that he has been invited to none other than Buckingham Palace, for an award ceremony presented by the Queen.
Caspar showed off his invitation on Twitter.
He is to attend a "Ceremony and Reception" for the recipients of the Queen's Young Leaders Award; a programme launched in 2014 that celebrates entrepreneurs, community leaders and "exceptional people" aged 18-29 across the Commonwealth. Not too shabby for a full-time vlogger!
Shoutout to the teacher who said I shouldn't waste my time making YouTube videos. pic.twitter.com/dK80nbyJiR— Caspar Lee (@Caspar_Lee) June 19, 2017
Caspar Lee met with the Queen's Young Leaders of South Africa.
So far, his involvement with the programme has included him meeting three of this year's award recipients - Farai Mubaiwa, Aditi Lachman and Chantelle De Abreu. Each of these young women have been leading exciting and revolutionary projects; including an initiative to close the gender gap in the engineering industry. You can find out more about each of their achievements at the official award site.
Caspar's friends and colleagues have been showing their support.
Because there's nothing cooler than uplifting your peers when they get to do cool stuff, Caspar's squad have been turning out on Twitter to cheer him on. Also take the opportunity to make "Queen" jokes.
