Her talent will never be forgotten.
Earlier this year, Christina Grimmie was tragically killed during a meet and greet after a Florida show, where she had just performed. Orlando Police confirmed her death on 11th June 2016 and tributes poured in from the rest of the world as her friends, family and fans mourned their horrific loss.
A week after Christina's death, what we thought was her final video was posted to her channel, in her memory, for her over three million subscribers. However, last week saw the beginning of a new series of videos on Christina's channel that showcases the late The Voice contestant's incredible talent.
The new videos come from the singers last EP 'Side A' that she released back in February, just four months before she was murdered. Christina filmed four new music videos for the tracks on her final album but they weren't uploaded due to the events that hit the world back in June. The singer's 'The Ballad of Jessica Blue' series "follows a young girls journey into self-discovery through her love life, her womanhood and her music."
The first of the four videos is to accompany 'Snow White', the first track on her Side A EP. The retro style video sees Christina's character, Jessica, "torn between boyfriend issues, her creative issues and a general feeling of self-doubt."
'Side A' was sadly the last of Christina's three albums, but these new videos pay a tribute to her incredible talent which will never be forgotten. 'Snow White' has already seen over one million views and we can expect to see the second quarter of 'The Ballad of Jessica Blue' series tomorrow (Thursday 18th August) which will be to the track, 'Anybody's You'.
