After taking on the UK, US and Australia with their TATINOF magic, one fan has a dream to see Dan & Phil take the stage with "The Internet Is Here" at the Eurovision Song Contest.
We'll cut to the chase, because no doubt you've seen the headline by now and are demanding answers. We found a real petition to really convince Dan & Phil to perform songs from TATINOF at the prestigious Eurovision Song Contest.
We were searching the internet yesterday for TATINOF images (for a completely unrelated article); and happened to stumble upon the petition page, launched by Phan "Beth Moriarty", by sheer chance.
"Their act is already complete," the petition description declares. "They performed a beautiful song at their TATINOF UK tour (The Amazing Tour is Not On Fire) in sparkly gold suits (perfect for Eurovision); and the entirety of Europe NEEDS to be blessed with such beauty."
A little more digging reveals that this petition was actually launched 7 months ago; meaning that Beth's intention was likely to get D&P; onto this year's Eurovision in Sweden. Sadly, with just 54 signatures at the time of writing, and the boys continuing their tour through the rest of the world this summer, it looks as though that would have been an unlikely dream.
But Beth, if you're out there; we're totally behind your dream to see Dan & Phil take "The Internet is Here" to the most outlandish and entertaining show in Europe in 2017!
