Sophie Emma Rose passed away in a road accident in Thailand.

The death of parenting and lifestyle YouTuber Sophie Emma Rose sent shockwaves around the word; the pregnant 41 year-old passed away after riding on the back of her boyfriend's motorcycle and being hit by an 18-wheel truck in Thailand. Now, in a surprising turn of events, Sophie's 29 year old boyfriend, Danny Glass, has been charged by Thai police with "killing his partner by dangerous driving".

Both Danny Glass and the driver of the lorry have been charged with killing via reckless driving.

Speaking to Phuket News, Lt Col Sanit Nookong said:  "Both men are being held responsible for the death, because both were driving recklessly. The drivers have already been charged. Right now, the investigation is not yet closed because we are still waiting for the autopsy to be released. Then they will go to court."

Danny Glass, originally from Kent, opened up about the death of his girlfriend in a video uploaded to his channel just hours after Sophie passed away. Speaking in the emotional vlog, Danny spoke of missing his girlfriend "so much" and begged someone to "wake [him] up from this nightmare".

Several days later Danny Glass uploaded a video to his 'Sun Fruit Dan' channel called 'My Gratitude And Appreciation For Sophie' where he talks about how much he enjoys making videos and how they help him express himself.

In the twelve minute video, Danny claims how grateful he is that Sophie came into his life, how thankful he is they got to share a relationship and how much she taught him during their time together. After comments calling Danny out on adding advertising in his description box, Danny later took his affiliate links down and turned off comments.

In two final videos posted earlier this week, Danny claims he "won't be posting any videos for a while" and "it's not the right time at the moment [to make videos]... I need to get my life on track".

The second video is titled 'Intense Emotional Rollercoaster Following Sophie's Death' and sees the YouTuber talk about feeling powerless: "It really sucks to be going through this, all I want to do is get on with my life and enjoy life to the best of my ability because that is what Sophie would want".
