Facebook Is Introducing A Feature No One Asked For And No One Wanted

It's a no from us.
Don't you love the way videos autoplay in your Facebook feed? Forcing you to count towards the views of a thing you never had any intention of watching? Sometimes taking up the whole screen and blaring music when you tilt your phone the wrong way? No? Well, have we got some great news for you!
Facebook have announced plans for videos in your News Feed to autoplay - with sound.
"As people watch more video on phones, they’ve come to expect sound when the volume on their device is turned on,” says the official blog post, wrongly. "After testing sound on in News Feed and hearing positive feedback, we’re slowly bringing it to more people."
Single question: Who are these people who tested positively, and how do we revoke their internet access forever?
The awful update will be part of several changes coming to Facebook video in the next little while; as they make a further move into rivalling their social media competitors over video. Other features, such as better support for portrait video and thumbnail-based video scrubbing seem like really great updates; but the hype surrounding them has been ruined by the impending autoplay with sound.
What do you think? Is this a positive, or an "absolutely not"? Let us know in the comments.
