He denies the allegations made against him

Amra Ricketts, known online as Flitz, has parted ways with Smosh Games after allegations of sexual assault were raised against him.

At the very end of 2017, a Facebook post appeared from a woman accusing him of rape. This post gained traction online, culminating in Amra finally having to address the issue.

"I wanted to let all of you know that effective immediately, I’m leaving Smosh Games" he said Thursday, from his Twitter account. "Last week I was accused of some of the worst things imaginable by a group of old friends and former roommate. While I deny all allegations against me, this community, my family at Smosh Games, and the team behind it mean so much to me. I cannot risk this having a negative impact on them."

What are the allegations?

Here is a timeline of the accusations. Credit to Kotaku for their research:

2016 - April “AprilEff” Fletcher says that she had heard accusations against Flitz back on 2016, but had not gone public with them, as the alleged victims had not wanted it made public. On Twitter she said “I have been waiting for my chance to publicly support someone coming out against him as I have had proof of him raping women since April of 2016.” She says she heard allegations from three alleged victims.

31 December 2017 - Raquey Strange wrote in a (now deleted) Facebook post that she had lived with Ricketts in a, quote, "cult environment", where sexual acts were expected from Ricketts. “I started feeling really uneasy when he came up to me and fondled me,” Strange wrote. “I was upset and confronted him about consent. His reaction was that of, ‘oh fuck that. Don’t pull that shit on me. That’s not how this works. Not with me.’”“As the sex began I didn’t know what to do,” Strange added. “At first I just lay there while four people were having sex around me until I started being touched and feeling as though I HAD to participate. I was completely coerced into the orgy.”

January 2018 - Several other Facebook users respond to Strange's Facebook post, stating that they had similar experiences.

January 2018 - YouTuber and streamer writes her own Facebook post (also seemingly unavailable now) Ricketts. She says, “I think a lot of you knew that Amra use[d] to be one of my best friends. I don’t really wanna talk about my experience just yet, but yeah, the shit is true.”
