We are so proud of Miles McKenna!
It's seemingly the biggest and most exciting week in the world of AmandasChronicles, aka Miles; but there's still more to come. We recently covered the fact that Miles has now come out as trans non-binary, and we couldn't be more excited for them. In an announcement video called "So I'm Trans", the newly-named Miles explained how they had finally focused on their identity; having struggled with gender for many, many years.
We're yet to see what Miles will do next with their channel (the name"AmandasChronicles" just became very outdated); but it seems we're going to be seeing a whole lot more of them soon, as they've just announced a brand new TV show!
In a video titled "I HAVE A SHOW AND IT'S HELLA GAY", Miles kicks things off by explaining one of the reasons they came out as trans non-binary this week; because they've been working on a major project.
In line with Fullscreen, Miles has been working on their own show called "Hella Gay"; a 12-part series that will "dive into a different sub-culture in the LGBTQ+ world". From drag queens, to getting tattoos with someone who identifies as bisexual, coming out online, and even going to church and talking to a gay pastor; the series looks set to be seriously eye opening.
Miles claims the reason why they needed to come out now was because the show is fronted by Miles and not Amanda.
"I'm still hella gay, but also hella Miles McKenna... 'cos I changed my name," explains Miles. "I was told I could make a show about anything I wanted and it turns out on the Fullscreen platform, they didn't have anything queer. And then I was like 'OK, this gay now has a mission'".
You can watch the entire video below, and we seriously suggest you do - Miles is funny, passionate and clearly super-hyped. We can't wait to see the series come out!
