The video is raw, honest and incredibly important. We could not be more proud to have someone with this kind of courage in the online community

YouTuber Hart (aka Hartbeat) has released an emotional video to her 440,000 subscribers in which she openly discusses her experiences with schizophrenia. She says that it has taken her three years to finally find the strength to make the video and says that she finds it 'worse than coming out as gay, for me at least.' She goes on to describe her journey from diagnosis, to living with the condition, to even revealing that she has attempted suicide multiple times. The video is incredibly moving and honest and we really recommend you watch it:

We think that it's beyond incredible that a YouTuber has found the strength to use their platform to raise awareness for something so important, especially considering it is an incurable condition that she herself suffers with. Hart states that she wants this video to let other sufferers know that 'they're not alone'. Let us show Hart that we are with her by sharing this video - and its message - as much as we possibly can.
