Hstar Vlogs' "Homeless Muslim" experiment reveals the goodness in people, and sparks some important talk about race and class discrimination in the UK.

There are two separate political discussions happening in the UK at any given point: how we treat those living in poverty, and how we treat anyone of a differing race or religion; specifically Muslims. And before now, the two have rarely intersected; until a social experiment titled "Homeless Muslim in London" attempted to bridge the gap.

Hstar Vlogs shares the result of his experiment; which involves dressing in traditional (or stereotypical) Muslim clothing and posing with a sign, to gauge the reaction of the public. His video is a time-lapse that reveals how often he was ignored, but also highlights in lengthy detail those who offered him help.

"The response was breathtaking," admits Hstar, talking about both the video and the traction it has gained since. "If you watch the video till the end it has a positive message, which clearly states its not about religion or colour when it comes to helping someone in need."
