This will save your life
Ever sent a Snapchat message that you wish you could take back? Well thanks to Snapchat's new feature, you can!
This week, the photo-sharing app rolled-out a brand new feature that allows you to delete messages you've sent, including ones that haven't been opened yet.
Up until this update, Snapchat chat messages would only disappear when both you and the person you sent it to had read it, or after 30 days if the message was unopened. Sure, you could delete the whole conversation, but not individual messages.
Now, you can delete messages straight away, whether they've been viewed or not, meaning that it's super simple to unsend snapchat messages. Here's how to do it.
How to unsend Snapchat messages
1. Open Snapchat
2. Swipe right to go to the Friends page
3. Tap the Chat column to view your current chats
4. Select the Snapchat message you want to unsent
5. Tap and hold the message
6. Select "Delete"
While this new unsend feature will stop friends seeing any messages (provided they haven't opened them), it will let the recipient know that you deleted a message.
