Did Kim K Just Shade Jackie Aina After She Gave Her Contour Kit A Bad Review?!

Kim Kardashian and Jackie Aina should essentially be best friends, right? Both Kim and Jackie are strong, powerful women working in the entertainment and beauty industries and generally owning life. However, it appears as if Kim has taken a bit of a dislike towards Jackie after the vlogger gave an unbiased and honest review of Kim's latest beauty range.
It all started when Kim invited a small party of YouTubers and influencers to launch event for her KKW Beauty line. The exclusive event featured mainly close friends and family but some lucky creators made the list, including Jackie Aina. The party was held at Kim and Kayne's mansion in Bel Air so you know it was going to be lit.
Before, during and after the event creators posted a range of literally impeccable selfies with Kim KW herself and shared snaps of the new range. Shortly after the party, Jackie Aina uploaded a review video of the KKW Beauty products and, like any good beauty creator, she was honest and told the audience her real opinions.
Whilst Jackie was, overall, positive about the products, she did critique how much product you got for your money (the contour and highlight stick is $48!).
Jackie also shared the fact she felt the products were essentially a little dated, feeling like "the whole contour and highlight train has long left the beauty community". Fair.
This is essentially what started the Kim Kardashian and Jackie Aina "drama"
It looked as if Kim Kardashian West was not happy with the critique and seemingly shaded the creator on Instagram. When uploading a series of Instagram pics thanking people for attending her launch party, Kim tagged every single person in the images apart from Jackie Aina.
Whilst it might not seem like a big deal (and in terms of the really important stuff like fighting for equality and better healthcare - it isn't), Kim has huge influence in just about every corner of the world. Sure, Jackie has nearly 1.5 million YouTube subscribers but a shout out or a tag in an image from Kim Kardashian West could send her to the absolute next level.
Let's be straight, Kim has 101 million followers on Instagram at the time of writing and she can basically make or break you.
When people realised what Kim had done, they were not happy and took to social media to call her out for being so obviously shady towards Jackie Aina.
Kim clearly & purposely didn't tag Jackie but now that she's gettin heat she wanna make up a story. pic.twitter.com/29sg6Nlg2l— Eunice (@Ms_Eunicebabyy) June 27, 2017
Do I agree with Jackie Aina associating with Kim K? Nah. But am I gonna still stan her and hope she prospers? Yes tf I am.— Julissa (@reptiIemother) June 21, 2017
jefree star has bashed Kim's sister (Kylie), still got an invite to kkwbeauty launch but when @jackieaina is honest kim wants to be petty— Tanisha Cherry (@TanishaCherry) June 23, 2017
However, Kim Kardashian has since "clarified" what actually went on.
In a series of tweets, Kim claimed she would "post someone's pic on [her] page and intentionally not tag them".
Kim went on to say:
"When I uploaded the album I was tagging everyone that came to the party and for some reason it wouldn't let me tag Jackie's name. I figured I would just try again later, but then I realized you can't add tags after the album is posted! I hung out with @JackieAina in my home and she was super sweet!! I love that she has an opinion and I'll take what she said and use it to better my products. Honestly, I'm so thankful to everyone who is giving me feedback on my beauty products & I love hearing what everyone does and doesn't love" [sic]
Kim then went on to call out Instagram and ask them to change their policy. Fair.
So @Instagram, can you change it so that you can tag people in galleries after they are posted, so I can avoid this issue in the future?— Kim Kardashian West (@KimKardashian) June 27, 2017
